HOW TO MAKE THE NEON FASHION TREND WORK FOR

How to Make The Neon Fashion Trend Work For You

We never thought we’d be saying this, but, it’s back. The bright, bold, colour hues of Neon are back with a vengeance, and for classic nude lovers, we’ve got to say it’s a big change.

Back in 2016, the runways were dominated by a creamy, barely-there colour palette of nudes, and now, well it’s quite the opposite. Of course, nude is a classic, and will never, we repeat NEVER be out of fashion, but right now, bold, vivid pieces are dominating the fashion world.

And the crazy thing about it? We kind of love it.

Designers across the globe are really running with neon colours and even mixing them with a little animal print (brave, we know), but now high-street brands have also started delivering their take on the style. To put it simply, it’s here to stay.

If you’re thinking about going full Kardashian mode and doing a bright highlighter green, or a fluoro fuchsia, we commend you. We’re all about taking trends seriously, but we also believe in easing our way in nicely.

Here, we’ve collected a number of our favourite pieces to help you enter the Neon fashion trend with confidence and ease.

Neon colours, welcome to our wardrobe.

YELLOW

First up, we’ve decided to ease you in nicely with this zesty yellow, Ravello Dress by Thurley. This beauty features a thick latticed material, perfect for the Spring weather, and perfect for the ladies opting to go bright and bold without too getting out too much skin or going full fluorescent

Team with a pointed court, and a low-slung pony-tail for effortlessly chic vibes.

PURPLE

Okay so, second pick of the day, is the Dahlia Mini Dress in Iris Orchid by Rebecca Valance. Featuring long shoulder straps that form a bow, and a tight bodycon silhouette, this little number is everything.

You don’t need to accessorise this dress with much at all, so simply add some barely-there heels, or do a real Kimmy K and team with some Perspex heels for that added Yeezy affect. The bright purple style borders on neon, without being too in-your-face.

It’s a yes from us.

PINK

Here she is, the neon pink dress of dreams that we’ve all been secretly waiting for.

Rebecca Valance is totally on trend with her colour palette, which makes things that little bit easier for you.

The pencil style silhouette and button adorned front slit provides a modern yet classic take on the neon colours loved by the whole Kardashian clan at the moment, which is why  the Cortona Midi Dress is our definitely our new crush. Perfect for the Spring Races, a wedding or even your graduation, this one’s worth looking in to, girls.

MULTICOLOURED

If there’s one thing we love more than a dress that resembles the brightness of a highlighter, it’s a dress that resembles all kinds of highlighters!

Yep, the Neon Weave V Flare Mini Dress from much loved label By Johnny combines a mixture blue, pink, orange and green threads to within its tweed fabric. Featuring a fit and flare hemline, and a straight, high-neck neckline, this little mini is fun, flirty and truly unique.
