The swankiest week of red-carpet premieres has just finished, and our favourite A-listers didn’t disappoint.
The Cannes Film Festival kicked off in true decedent style and of course the usual suspects (Kendall Jenner, we’re looking at you) turned up the style stakes. If only we could’ve teleported all the way over to France to take a closer look of the extravaganzas that made it to the red-carpet. Unfortunately, the best we can do is steal the style from our much-loved style icons and hope to emulate their stunning looks for our next big event.
From the prettiest silhouettes to the most breathtaking gowns, here’s our favourite looks and how you can steal the style in our favourite floor length gowns and more.
Milla Jovovich hit the premiere of Sibyl in the ritziest dress of all. We’re talking head to toe sequins and we’re a little in love with the look. She came through dripping in gold and luckily, we’ve got the dreamiest way to steal the look and make it more CBD appropriate in the form of the Sharnie Pantsuit by none other than glam brand, Mischa Collection.
Our favourite Melbourne-born stunner Shanina Shaik looked like an ethereal, fairy princess as she glided down the red-carpet. Wearing a plunge-neck kimono-style sheer embellished gown with batwing sleeves, she looked simply perfect. Get the look in this angelic silhouette Modern Love Gown by Carla Zampatti or wear The Can’t Get Better Than This dress by Alice McCall. Formed from a bespoke open mesh fabric exclusive to the brand, the intricate vintage-inspired embroidered rose trim gives off Cannes vibes for sure.
Spanish model and social media influencer Mara Lozano nailed it in a powerful white, tulle tiered extravaganza at the premiere of The Traitor. Styled with a sleek ponytail and minimal accessories (the gown really didn’t need much else), this look is yours to steal. Although we’re not telling you to walk the streets of Australia in what looks like a modern wedding dress, you can draw inspo from the ensemble in The Zen Dress by Alice McCall.
As always, this babe made a show stopping entrance at the screening of La Belle Epoque in a plunging, bright red number that managed to stand out from the red-carpet for all the right reasons. Heading to a wedding or a black-tie event? Claim this look and make it your own in the Harlow Tie Gown by Rebecca Vallance.
